Clutching nothing
Chest tight
Eyes wet
I’m here
In my bed
Months gone by
You’re still gone
And I miss you
An aching pain
Throbbing through
Swollen veins
Hidden in view
I dream of you still
I know not why
Of you coming back
Into my life
My love
My soul
The one to whom
I’d be the wife
Your voice echoes
Into the void
How empty must I be
Without the need of you filling me
I still see you
Now with her
Just end me
Now
While I still feel the pain
