Spotted

I saw you there
Across the room
Eyes spilling light
That tore through gloom
Steady hands to hold me close
And words laced in ambrosia
I let you pull me tightly in
Wrapping emotion around me
Before long
It became a snare
Digging deeply into ribs
Snagging tender flesh
Cracking my thin shell
Taking away from me
All I thought was me
Molding me into you
I try to scream
To spit though
Your crooked hand over my mouth
I bite into raw unmoving flesh
Blood seeping through my teeth
Fighting to tear away
To do anything
To escape
